What's Happening In our Community
"Welle Tidy"
The "Welle Tidy" Litter picking group has been set up via Facebook and it's sole purpose is to try to tidy up the village. The group is informal and is mainly to link people and to see which areas are being litter picked and which are not. There is a map available from the Facebook page and you can contact their administrator to add yourself to the map if you would like to get behind this initiative and support the great work they have already done in tidying up our village.
Local Photography..
Upwell is a Beautiful Village to meander through and explore.
Photography is a great past time and records a time in history and for your personal memories, the buildings , scenery and waterways that bless our village.
There are even a couple of local photographers living in the area and are always sharing their work via Social Media.
The "200" Club
The 200 club is a monthly raffle in aid of the Village Hall
Sign up for a yearly ticket and with a monthly draw, you can help the hall raise a few pounds and you never know, you may well benefit from it too...
